The 2010 Escalade Hybrid
The Escalade Hybrid combines the highest
levels of performance and luxury. Perhaps the boldest
expression of Cadillac's uncompromising commitment to
technical innovation, the Escalade Hybrid deploys the
world's first 2-Mode Hybrid system to power a full-size
luxury SUV.
The 2-Mode Hybrid system seamlessly transitions between
the electric motors and combustion engine as speed and
power demands vary. Allowing for an estimated 50% improvement
in city fuel economy over the iconic Escalade and up
to 21mpg. All that, with adaptive remote start and seating
up for up to 8. Compare that with 19mpg for the 2008
Mini Cooper Convertible, 18mpg for Mercedes-Benz C-Class,
17pmg for BMW X3, and 14mpg for Volvo XC90.
As the world's first full-size luxury hybrid SUV, the
Escalade Hybrid embodies all the performance and luxury
that made the Escalade iconic. At its heart is a 332
hp V8 engine that generates 367 lb-ft of torque at 4,100
rpm with towing capacity of 5,800 lbs. in RWD and 5,600
lbs. in 4WD.

All That You Expect And More
Abundant in amenities, the Escalade Hybrid sets
a new benchmark for hybrid luxury. The Navigation Radio
interface displays real-time 2-Mode Hybrid System information
in brilliant full-color in addition to all the standard
luxury amenties and safety features of the original
Escalade, including a National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration 5-star safety rating in the frontal crash
and side-impact crash tests.
There's DVD-based navigation, rear-view camera,
a premium Bose 5.1 cabin surround sound system, rear
seat integrated overhead or headrest DVD entertainment
system, Bluetooth for phone interface, Tri-zone automatic
electronic climate control, heated and cooled seating
and cup holders.
OnStar-equipped Escalade models feature Generation 7
technology and OnStar’s Turn-by-Turn Navigation,
the first factory-installed, fully integrated GPS navigation
system from OnStar. Turn-by-Turn allows consumers to
talk to a live advisor, who in turn sends complete step-by-step
directions to customers` vehicles through their OnStar
system.
